About Us

Equine9 was born a number of years ago now, out of the search for a new pair of half chaps.  The search ended up a lot more extensive than planned, and in the process we discovered some great manufacturers in different parts of the world.

That lead to a long process of buying samples, trying out gear and visits to some of the most promising companies.  Once we were happy that we had some great manufacturers to work with, we started out with our original handful of products.

We are very fortunate to have a fair few of or own horses and are able to use our gear.  This helps us to work out what is working, how it wears, and any improvements we’d like to make, which has lead to the range of products we have today.

Regularly we are asked if we can get a one off or source a particular brand.  One of our aims with Equine9 has been to keep great gear affordable.  For this reason we need to get our products manufactured in bulk, and made for us, rather than buying branded product wholesale.
